Health and Well-being Changemaker - Top 50 Students Worldwide, Chegg.org Global Student Prize 2022
Chegg.org, the impact, research, and advocacy wing of Chegg recognizes 50 students aged 16 years and above worldwide who have made a real impact in the field of education, lives of their peers, community, and society through the Global Student Prize. I have been selected as one of the Top 50 young changemakers worldwide for my work in the field of Health and Well-being.
Short Term Studentship
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) runs a Short-Term Studentship program with the objective to encourage medical and dental students to pursue research. Every year ICMR selects 1200 medical and 300 dental students' research proposals to be completed within 2 months duration post-ethical approval. Students who complete their projects and submit satisfactory reports to the ICMR are then rewarded for studentship for those 2 months of research work.
The Excellence Award
The Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) International recognizes the commitment and enduring efforts of members who have made notable contributions to the organisation; be it an improvement, inspiration, or an achievement for his/her AMSA Member and for AMSA International. Therefore, these contributions shall be acknowledged and rewarded with the highest gratitude through Excellence Award.
International Society of Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM) Carlyn Halde Fund
This special fund exists to provide a limited number of memberships for applicants who are working in the field of medical mycology, having limited income and no alternate financial support.
Representative of Asia for MeSAGE
ScholarRx founded MeSAGE in 2019 with the aim of empowering different student organizations with the tools and training that allow them to work together to close educational gaps. Through MeSAGE, ScholarRx has partnered with leading student organizations to address educational needs at a global and societal level and help medical students define, build, and learn the key content that may be missing from the standard curriculum.
World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific (WPRO)
Through AMSA International, Oshin has had the opportunity to join the -
1. 72nd WHO Reginal Committee Meeting of the Western Pacific (WPRO) as an AMSA Intl delegate representing the youth of WPR.
2. 2nd Western Pacific Partner's Forum as a delegate as well as set-up a booth for AMSA Intl.
Best Undergrad/Graduate Hack in Neuroarts Track
Oshin along with his two team members from Indonesia designed a potential application to provide telemedical alternative to exposure and behavioral therapies with as well as without the active presence of the treating physician dueing each exposure session during Synaptic Hacks 2021 - A Neuroscience Hackathon organized by Simply Neurosciences, an association of multi-disciplinary neuroscience enthusiasts including but not limited to engineers, healthcare professionals, and neuroscientists.

The Rotaract Club of Medicrew, Rotary International District (RID) 3141 honors one member among all its members for their active participation and contribution to a specific avenue of the club.
Winner of the Global Surgery Research Proposal Programme 2021
InciSioN International Students’ Surgical Network through its Global Surgery Research Proposal Programme invites research projects proposals from students and trainees across their network and selects 2-3 projects to be implemented throughout InciSioN Intl and its National Working Groups.

The President & Governor and the Executive Committee of American College of Surgeons - India chapter is delighted to nominate, recommend and sponsor selected medical students for Member of American College of Surgeons for their outstanding academic performance based on a rigorous selection process during the International Medical Students' Congress hosted by ACS India and Gurrukul of Surgical Disciplines.
